New Patch Released for Mario Kart 7

Nintendo has released a new 3DS patch for Mario Kart 7. It fixes a major glitch that was found in Maka wuhu, where racers online skip half of the course and get a huge advantage over the other players. This has been a major problem with many players around the world right now for those who don't know how to do it. Because of that, All Mario Kart 7 owners must update before they can play online. It's now available in the Nintendo eShop.

NHL 13 Teaser Trailer Released

A new short teaser trailer has been released for NHL 13. It features some slick dekes, ending with Phil Kessel scoring, and then teases about the new skill stick. I can't wait for more information, and we want to see a new skill stick! The video is right after the break.

Halo 4 vs. Black Ops - Sales War

Halo and Call of Duty are arguably the two biggest FPS series of the 21st century. Now, both series are releasing their next instalments within a week of each other. Halo 4 will be released on November 6th, 2012, and Black Ops 2 will be released on November 13th, 2012. Which one will sell more?

Possible GTA IV Release Date Leaked Via Amazon

That's right, according to Amazon UK the release date will be December 2012. However, keep in mind this is a possible release date, as it could just be a place holder. Here's a screenshot.

Hitman: Sniper Challenge Confirmed

The mini-game was leaked earlier this week, but is now official confirmed by Square Enix in the form of the trailer above. The standalone game will be available as a code to anyone who pre-orders Hitman: Absolution from GameStop. 


When you download Sniper Challenge you take part in a single, timed mission to execute a target. You'll also be able to unlock Silenced Agency Kazo TRG for use in Hitman: Absolution.

New Mario Tennis Open Commercial

A new trailer has been released for Mario Tennis Open for 3DS. What makes this trailer very interesting is that Nintendo finally unveiled their new 3DS colour, Midnight Purple, in a commercial.

Pre-Order Bonus for Kingdom Hearts 3DS Available in North America

 

So far, the 10th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series has been a success, and fans are hoping for something good this year. Japan has revealed the new Argumented Cards for Kingdom Hearts 3DS, which will be included with the new Kingdom Hearts 3DS Dream Drop Distance. The new Kingdom Hearts will be released on July 31, 2012 in North America. If you pre-order the game you will receive a bonus of three augmented reality cards. The pre-orders for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance are available in stores around the United States and Canada.

Diablo 3 Future Shop Midnight Launch Details Released

Midnight launch details have been released on Future Shop's official site. All stores will open at 11:59 PM on May 14th, except for the Quebec and Sudbury locations which will open at 8:00 AM local time. Whoever buys D3 at midnight will receive a free Diablo 3 Steelbook (pictured to the right) and $10 towards any game in June. There will also be mousepads, posters etc. There will also be a trade 2 get it for free offer available in all stores.

At Diablo 3 launch parties in Toronto (Yonge & Dundas), Edmonton (South Edmonton Common), and Vancouver (Robson & Granville), there will be costume contest with a prize of a desktop ($1000 value) and a laptop ($500 value) along with additional prizes such as collectors editions. Max Payne 3 will be launching the same day.

CISPA: What is It?

CISPA, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act is aproposed law that was passed by the House of Representatives on April 27, 2012.This law, along with SOPA, and PIPA threatens our internet privacy. The billwould, in official terms, allow “thesharing of certain cyber threat intelligence and cyber threat informationbetween the intelligence community and cybersecurity entities, and for otherpurposes”. However, various companies are against it, just as they opposed SOPAand PIPA, due to the invasion of privacy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Prototype Menu Leaked

YouTube user MitaDesigns has uploaded the following video which apparently shows the prototype menu for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The video shows an interactive menu, similar to the first Black Ops. The video shows what looks to be an airplane cockpit, with a few screens active and displaying data. However the video is not footage but a collection of screenshots, so you won't be able to see any movement or things to interact with. You can, however, see the words "CAMPAIGN" in the last still, which appears to be a selection.

World Premiers for Halo 4 and other games at E3 2012

Microsoft just announced many games to be featured at their E3 press conference, known as "Microsoft Entertainment Evolved". Halo 4 and many other highly anticipated games will have a world premier at the Expo.  Here is a small little paragraph that will get you up to speed on what's going to happen after the break.

Samsung Galaxy SIII Screen Protector Leaked

Just a few days left, the new Samsung Galaxy SIII will soon be unveiled on May 3rd. People are going to love the unveiling and are going crazy for it. There is one more leaked rumour related to the new Samsung Galaxy SIII.

According to the people over at Unwire HK in Korea, they got there hands on the Samsung Galaxy SIII Screen Protector last morning in North America (because of different time zones, there is a day difference in Korea). E3 Schedule

Here is the E3 Conference schedules. Microsoft is the first to take the stage at 10 AM on June 4th. The last will be Nintendo on June 5th at 9 AM.

Introducing the new BlackBerry 10 (and a sneak peek video included)

The BlackBerry World 2012 was just held on May 1st in Orlando, Florida and it appears the expectations for the new BlackBerry were not met. One of the best things about the BlackBerry is the physical keyboard Well, now the new BlackBerry 10 may not have that.

Meet the BlackBerry 10 Dev alpha, which was unveiled in the morning. However, BlackBerry mentions it isn't a real phone and it is modelled to show off the new Blackberry 10. The new BlackBerry has no physical keyboard, hence, the new OS has changed dramatically.

The main thing about this phone right now is their keyboard. When you see the virtual keyboard popping up, it isn't really much a difference and it's more like the ones on the iPhone, Android, Nokia, etc.When you start typing though, the magic starts to happen in your experience. 

Skyrim: Dawnguard DLC Announced

Skyrim: Dawnguard, is officially announced. This DLC is coming to Xbox 360 in the summer, and will be coming to PC and PS3 a month later. No details have been announced, however more will be revealed at E3. The announcement was made on Bethesda's blog and only featured this teaser picture. According to this article  a DLC folder has been found which features several new items and characters. A new Snow Elf Princess, crossbows, and new vampire animations (is that a vampire in the picture above?).

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Reveal Trailer

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 was just revealed and tells a new exciting tale for the future. The year is 2025. Technology has advanced but war has struck in a familiar place. L.A (As far as we know, we are not completely sure if the game will set entirely in L.A). Sgt. Frank Woods, the man we know from Black Ops, who apparently "died" after sacrificing himself to save Mason, is actually alive and is a retired Agent. As we can see from the trailer, Call of Duty has taken an extra step and is now heading towards the future and is changing a lot. Upgraded weaponry and support, Black Ops 2 is going to be a totally different Call of Duty game. Features are listed after the break.

Skyrim Kinect Update

Skyrim has officially launched their Kinect Update, which is available for free on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Along with over 200 voice commands, you can also do all the dragon shouts in English just by speaking. All the shouts are also available in dragon speak, you just have to say one, two, or three words of the shout to activate it. Here is the PDF file with all of the voice commands. This update will add a more interactive part to the game, and now we can finally shout, "FUSRODAH!"

Black Ops 2 Site Launches + Two Screenshots

Today is the day that Activision will reveal it's latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise. It'll be revealed on TNT during the NBA Playoffs tonight. As we near that time, the Black Ops 2 site has finally launched!

The site confirms the game's launch date, November 13th, 2012, and features a little more information. Most of the site is "classified" but that should change tonight after the official launch.

Diablo III - Evil is Back TV Spot

As fans prepare for the release of Diablo III, which is launching on May 15th, Blizzard just released a new action packed TV Spot with the game's epic cinematics. Maybe you might just see it on TV.

God Of War Ascension Gameplay Released

A short video of GoW: Ascension gameplay was released today. It shows a small bit of team-based multiplayer action as the two unknown heros defeat two cyclops. The new game will feature a new multiplayer mode. Where each player choses a god to worship and levels his skills/stats. The game looks good enough to make Xbox gamers jealous. Midnight Purple 3DS Confirmed in North America

Nintendo has confirmed today that the Midnight Purple 3DS will launch on the same day that Mario Tennis Open will launch, on May 20th. The rumour from the previous post said it will be released in North America and the word from Nintendo confirmed it to be released in the region. However, there is no confirmation that it will launch in other regions.

However, in Japan, the Midnight Purple 3DS will be released after the Colbalt Blue, and in North America the Midnight Purple will be released first.

Black Ops 2 MP Info Allegedly Leaked - Perks and Weapons

Just before the world reveal, MP1st got leaked information on the upcoming CoD game, Black Ops 2.

Note: This could however be fake, but we have to wait until we get confirmation. Seeing how Treyarch isn't taking much action, this could be real because normally they shoot down quick rumours.

Black Ops 2 Logo Leaked?

Black Ops 2, the next addition to the Call of Duty franchise, set to release on November 13th, just had a logo leak. The image above is apparently the official Black Ops 2 logo. In a previous article on Teck Daily, it was said Black Ops 2 might be released on November 13th. This poster pretty much confirms that.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 coming out on November 13th?

The new Call of Duty game being revealed on May 1st is drawing a lot of attention. There are many different sources claiming to have pictures of the game cover, game lists etc. The name usually being used is Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The name has been used on several different things including this pre-order card. A consumer took this picture of this card at a Target store. This was originally posted in a joystiq article.

This release date would be near the Halo 4 release date, when it was already expected to be released.

Is the Samsung Galaxy SIII being revealed?

There has been hundreds of rumors spreading over the net about the new Samsung Galaxy SIII, but most of them are complete nonsense. We have no idea what the phone will look like, what we should expect from the phone, and if it is actually the Samsung Galaxy SIII. However, it has been an Android phone we all anticipated and everyone keeps everyone keeps talking about it.

Can't wait what's coming up in the near future? About a week ago, Samsung enticed many people with this picture that gave them a clue about what to expect with the new Galaxy phone. This picture on the right, in the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 app, shows that it will be unveiled on the 3rd of May.


This week, Samsung has released two teaser videos. The first teaser video is about a website called  tgeltaayehxnx.com (which is now down). Unscrambling the letters will get 'The Next Galaxy' and the actual teaser is at thenextgalaxy.com. Here are 2 teaser videos after the break;

Black Ops 2 Pictures Leaked

Was Skyrim A Disappointment?

Note: This is not supposed to be a serious review, just me giving my thoughts.

Time for a review! What better game to review than Skyrim, a game that you either love or hate. I know, I know, I'm late by half a year. However, I thought I would point out the flaws and the strengths of this game.  The review continues after the break.

Midnight Purple 3DS to be release in America next month? (Rumour)

Over a year ago, when it launched, the Nintendo 3DS only allowed two colours, Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black. However, just two colours didn't give enough variety to consumer, so the choices increased to five colours in the US market.  A few days ago, it appears there is another rumour spreading that another colour of the 3DS will become available for purchase.

What the Midnight Purple 3DS would look like

There are five colours of the 3DS available in the US market, and, compared to the other Nintendo DS's, that's a lot. According to a user in GameFAQs, in EB Games under the 3DS hardware list, there was another colour listed, Midnight Purple.

New Call of Duty Game Being Revealed on May 1st!

Days after 343i announced the release date of Halo 4, Activision announced that they would reveal the new game, and it's release date, on May 1st on TNT, during the NBA playoffs. It is expected to be released around the same time as Halo 4. November has always been a great time for releases. In 2011, Call of Duty: MW3, Halo: CE Anniversary, Assassins Creed: Revelation, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Saints Row the Third, and L.A. Noire were released in November. In 2010, most of these games predecessors were released.

The website homepage features thirteen windows, one that you can see and click on, another that is fuzzy, and eleven others that are marked as "classified". The first window leads to an FPSRussia video, it is expected that one window will become clear each day up until the launch.

Halo 4 Release Date

Halo 4's release date has finally been announced, November 6th, 2012! This release date is in the same window of two other big releases, GTA 5 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Although both of these games release dates have not been made official, GTA 5 is expected to be released somewhere in October or November 2012, and Black Ops 2 is expected to be released on either November 6th, or 13th, 2012.

Google Drive Launch

Google has just unveiled their newest gadget, Google Drive. Made as a competitor for Dropbox and Skydrive, Google drive uses the same method, cloud storage. Google Drive offers free 5GB storage right off the bat, compared to Dropbox's 2GB, and Skydrive's 7GB in the new update - users previously had 25GB.

Users can pay more money for more storage. The highest amount of storage available is 16TB for $800 dollars a month! Not sure who'd need 16TB of storage, but there's a huge backup hard drive!

Google has also integrated a search feature, allowing users to search by keyword, or filter by owner, file type, and activity. There is also an integrated image search feature.
